The history of Smash Bros. Mallorca
Before Smash Bros. Mallorca (200?-2014)
Competitive Smash arrived in Spain in the early 2000s, when several players in Catalonia decided that Super Smash Bros. Melee for the Nintendo GameCube did not have to be just a party game. They began organising the first serious tournaments and events, and Smash Bros. Spain itself was founded in 2008, alongside the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. From that point onwards, a national competitive scene gradually began to become a reality, thanks to the arrival of its legendary forum and the work of several players and TOs.

Screenshot taken from the Web Archive of the Ngamer forum, where Moyans!!!, Ramonium and Migue started playing online.
Mallorca's case was different due to its smaller size and poorer connections. The reality is that, at the time, there was nothing serious on the island: although several now-defunct groups, such as Asociación Milenaria, occasionally organised casual Brawl tournaments, with four-player matches and items, nobody was truly competing in our region. These events were held in video game stores, such as Resident Games, which no longer exists either.

During the Brawl era, only Ramonium and Moyans!!!, who practised against each other and played online against people from mainland Spain, took Smash seriously, alongside other users scattered around the island who trained on their own, whom we now know to have been DarkRevolver, Migue and SXNova. In fact, it is possible that there were other Smashers playing without items and with a competitive mindset elsewhere in Mallorca, but the truth is that we will probably never know because there was no community, and these users, if they existed, had no online presence.

The birth of Smash Bros. Mallorca (2015)
When Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS arrived, Mallorca still did not have a Smash Bros. community, despite there already being several active scenes throughout Spain. Then, that turning point arrived, and Ramonium and Moyans!!!, the founders of the scene, decided that the island could not continue to be a territory without a competitive community. It all started during a casual conversation in the swimming pool at Ramonium's parents' house: the two lamented the fact that there were no tournaments or competition in the region, and of course... since nobody had created one, they thought that if they wanted it to become a reality, they had to take the first step. And so, in such a casual way, Smash Bros. Mallorca was born.

The Mallorcan community started completely from scratch. Unlike what happened in other communities on the mainland, where groups of friends sparked the beginning of their scenes, Ramonium and Moyans!!! did not know anyone outside their circle who played with a competitive mindset. It was 2015, and these two players began organising tournaments at anime or gaming events such as Mallorca Game, Kodomo no Hi or Bunka no Hi. The competitions were successful, and there, with just two consoles and brackets made with pencil and paper using random seeding, they were able to bring somewhat serious tournaments to the island. Soon, several players attracted by the launch of these events became increasingly interested in improving and competing, thus forming an emerging Mallorcan community.
Some sets recorded on Migue's console during Mallorca Game 2015.

After that, Ramonium launched the legendary Smash Bros. Mallorca Facebook group, which was the first platform created by the island's community to organise itself.

The early years of Smash Bros. Mallorca (2015-mid-2016)
In a more or less inconsistent manner, Smash Bros. Mallorca tried to organise events almost every month, whenever possible. This was because the resources available were much more limited than they are today: the community had no real structure, no regular venue where tournaments could be held, and no funds to finance equipment. While Smash Bros. Spain mainly operated through its forum, Smash Bros. Mallorca announced tournaments through the Facebook group, where it organised competitions using events and also shared results and rankings. Players could also chat there and share memes, videos, or competitive strategies.

One of the first Smash Bros. Mallorca tournaments, organised at Casal Llevant in Palma.
Start.gg did not exist as a platform at the time, so in many tournaments the bracket was created on the spot and at random: when events began, each player was assigned a number, and afterwards, participants had to pick a piece of paper with a number written on it from inside a box. This was how matchups were decided, and it was also why the most skilled players often faced each other in early rounds. Fortunately, there was a losers' bracket and best-of-three matches: these elements, which are considered basic in any competition, were used as selling points, as tournaments held before Smash Bros. Mallorca by anime associations often featured single elimination and brackets where matches consisted of only one game.

Players who were around at the time will remember that the bracket was written on a whiteboard or directly on a piece of paper placed on a table, and users crowded around it to find out when they had to play. Since many tournaments only had two or three consoles, very few friendlies could be played, so everyone acted as a spectator during the events, as can be seen in the photographs accompanying this text. From time to time, this analogue system was combined with platforms such as Challonge, depending on the resources available at each tournament. And, of course, the idea of streaming the matches was unthinkable.

From left to right: Vanilj, Moyans!!!, Ramonium, Migue and several members of Nippon Time, including Rapero Watch.
During this period, the community's first players arrived, including Ramonium and Moyans!!! themselves, Rush, Navi, Albur, Niku, Shancks, John Zephyr, Vanilj, JC, TOM, IWinYou, Jota, Dansta, Nimbledorf (now Duroman21), Monado Man, Shois, STOP, Shancks and Rapero Watch, among many other competitors. However, one player stood out above all of them: Migue, or LinkMigue, the Little Mac main who became the first number one player in Smash Bros. Mallorca.

One of the first Smash Bros. Mallorca tournaments, at Casal Llevant.
Despite Little Mac being one of the worst characters in Smash for Wii U, Migue was very good at punishing habits and patterns, allowing him to take advantage of the character's strengths on the ground and overcome all his opponents. In such an early meta, with so few players having competitive experience, this style of play proved overwhelming. He knew his character and possessed great skill at the game, so for quite some time he dominated the island's meta. The older players remember the Mallorca Game 2015 tournament, where he demonstrated absolute dominance and won a very substantial prize, even compared to those awarded at much later competitions.

Another of the first Smash Bros. Mallorca events, also at Casal Llevant.
During that first stage, tournaments were organised at the previously mentioned anime events, as well as at community centres such as Llevant and Migjorn, both located in Palma. However, when Migue began to see his leadership threatened, he gradually started attending events less and less. The players behind him, especially Ramonium, began beating him with increasing consistency. Eventually, he retired, and the Toon Link main became the island's number one player for just under a year.

As Smash Bros. Mallorca continued organising tournaments, it began to become increasingly professional. Around this time, events were held at Smash Bros. Mallorca's first regular venue, the now-defunct Soñando con Juegos, which hosted several events before closing. By this point, the community included players such as PinkAplier, SkelHector, Metso, Inward, basi lisx, Zero, Orpi and IvanTheLastPrime, among many others.

After Soñando con Juegos closed, Smash Bros. Mallorca began organising competitions at El Món d'en Kaito Videojocs (now known as Kaito Shop), launching Mallorca's legendary first tournament series: the Bien Jugado Series. These were the island's first events to feature streaming (although not always) and to use Start.gg (then known as Smash.gg) with a serious seeding system.

In the summer of 2016, the first Mallorcan expedition to a national tournament held on the mainland also took place. Ramonium, Moyans!!!, John Zephyr, Rush, Navi and Shancks (who had moved to Madrid) attended Sonic Boom 2016: Summer Edition, where they discovered that, although the island's level was not bad, they still had a lot to improve if they wanted to compete against the best players in Spain. This was the first of several national tournaments attended by Mallorcan players.

As the level of play in Mallorca grew, Ramonium's brief reign came to an end: before long, a 14-year-old boy began improving tremendously at Smash 4. Soon, he reached the throne and earned the distinction of being Mallorca's best Smash Bros. player. He has already achieved legendary status on the island, as, despite having retired some time ago, many people still consider him the best player across several different Smash games. His tag is IWinYou. Soon, his Fox dominated Mallorca's meta... and his legendary prize money, spent entirely on gigantic bags of sweets, became a symbol of this player.

IWinYou completely dominated the scene, and in fact, not only did he win the final Bien Jugado tournaments, but also every event in the Wrong Input Series, which was organised in 2017 at the now-defunct Elite Gaming Mallorca, the last venue to host Smash Wii U tournaments on the island. During this period, IWinYou rarely gave up sets or even games to his opponents: his dominance was unquestionable.

During this era, the community managed to reserve a space at the Casal Migjorn in Palma where players could gather one afternoon every week to play friendlies. There, the island's players were able to practise and improve consistently in an offline environment, as well as organise weekly King of Character tournaments for many characters (many of which were won by IWinYou).

During these years, Smash Bros. Mallorca came into contact with Fistro, a player from Ibiza who was studying at the UIB and who put us in touch with Shiro, the driving force behind the Asociación Otaku de Ibiza (AOI), which intended to create a competitive community on the island of Ibiza. Soon, the relationship between the Mallorca community and the emerging Ibiza scene was excellent, and the two groups began helping each other grow, especially in an environment where there was virtually no relationship with the national competitive scene.

This collaboration between Mallorca and Ibiza led to the organisation of the Balearic Islands' first regional tournament, Brothers in Smash, which was held on the island of Ibiza in July 2017. The Asociación Otaku de Ibiza, led by Shiro, made possible a two-day event that attracted several of Mallorca's best players as well as a few players from mainland Spain, becoming the largest event organised in the autonomous community up to that point. It also featured professional-quality streaming and levels of production and organisation never before seen in the region.

Apart from the classic singles and doubles events, Brothers in Smash featured the legendary first Mallorca VS Ibiza Crew Battle. In an epic and tense confrontation, the Mallorca community, which had already become a consolidated group, managed to take home a beautiful trophy from their Ibiza hosts. It was one of the Mallorcan players' first major successes outside their island.

Due to his young age, IWinYou was unable to attend the battle between the islands, but despite this, he continued to dominate Mallorca's scene. He was also recognised as the best player in the Balearic Islands, because although Brothers in Smash was the autonomous community's first regional tournament, trips by Mallorcan players to Ibiza and visits by Ibiza players to Mallorca became increasingly common and... nobody could hold a candle to IWinYou, who dominated the island scene without question.

By this point, Smash Bros. Mallorca had grown enough to gain recognition from players outside the island. At the time, competitors such as DarkRevolver, Sr.Carls, Bosu and Pepxu had become regular attendees, along with Ibiza players such as the aforementioned Shiro and Fistro, as well as players such as Oveja and Hipopótamo.

The final national Smash 4 tournaments, including events such as Roll Dinasty, several Tech Republic tournaments and Adapt Kingdom, also had Mallorcan representation.

Active Super Smash Bros. for Wii U competition in Mallorca came to an end in March 2018, when Nintendo announced that the next Smash game, Ultimate, would be released for Nintendo Switch. The Mallorca community took a break for several months, but this did not stop the island's players from travelling to tournaments in Ibiza (which were always won by Mallorcan players whenever they attended). Particularly memorable was the Grand Final between Ramonium and PinkAplier at Ibiza's Farewell Tournament.

As a curiosity, at the final Smash for Wii U tournament, organised at a Shinigamis de Mallorca anime event at Parque de Bomberos ASIMA, PinkAplier managed to take a tournament from none other than IWinYou for the first and last time...

The arrival of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (December 2018-March 2020)
The release of the new Smash Bros. game for Nintendo Switch generated so much excitement that the Mallorca community decided to organise an Opening Tournament the day after the game's release. This event, held at Defcon Informática, was hugely successful and reached numbers that had not been seen in Mallorca for years: the event was massive, with around 50 people, and a friendly rule was established preventing veteran Super Smash Bros. for Wii U players from using their mains from the previous game. The Facebook group had already ceased to be Smash Bros. Mallorca's main organisational platform, eventually being replaced by Twitter and, above all, WhatsApp.

2019 began with a very active community, with tournaments that started being organised with high levels of quality and production at Defcon Informática, both at the Palma and Inca stores, largely thanks to PinkAplier's perfectionism and dedication. He was beginning to bring the highest levels of audiovisual production in Spain to the island. The Defcon Shop tournaments reached up to 70 participants, and in this context, Brothers in Smash II was organised, which, as promised, would have the Mallorcans as hosts. The two-day event was organised in August 2019 and featured more than 60 players, including not only several of Ibiza's best competitors, but also some mainland players, such as the Catalan player Vilxs or nationally banned players from Madrid who pretended to be "Mallorcans from the north of the island".

The tournament was very intense and, contrary to what was expected on the Iberian Peninsula, Vilxs, who was one of Barcelona's best Smashers at the time, had to settle for a top 5 finish. The final was between PinkAplier and Hipopótamo; the Ibiza player took home the trophy, bringing glory to his island.

Around this time, IWinYou was still Mallorca's best player, but he was not as dominant as he had been at the end of Smash 4. Besides missing several events, very strong opponents such as My litle pony and Duroman21 were able to defeat him on several occasions. After some time at Defcon Informática, Smash Bros. Mallorca began organising tournaments at Gamers Palma, where it held several events from late 2019 until early 2020. By this point, players such as Migre, Andreurams, Zennos, Kura, Notah, Pep, Hylian, Medusilla, Silent, Zetsubing, Aleatron, Charlie, Frasko, Neo and Jotan had also appeared, among many others.

The first years of Ultimate represented the golden age of Smash Bros. Mallorca. The new game, very dynamic, fun and full of charismatic characters, was released on a highly successful console (unlike the much less popular Wii U), allowing tournaments of between 40 and 60 people to be organised every month. In addition, the weekly gatherings returned to Casal Migjorn in Palma, and so many participants attended to play friendlies that the library room usually used by Smash Bros. Mallorca during the Smash 4 era began to become too small, so we were given access to the kitchen, as it was common for between 20 and 30 people to attend every week for an afternoon of friendlies.

With so many people, a new meta and so much excitement, Mallorca's tournaments were always full of surprises, upsets and rivalries. Smash 4 veterans mixed with countless new players, and the future of the scene looked brighter than ever. In February 2020, Smash Bros. Mallorca announced that it would once again organise a tournament at the old Elite Gaming Mallorca. On March 14, 2020, Elite Mallorca #1 was supposed to become a reality, and during the previous weeks, almost 40 people registered for the event that was going to bring us back to the legendary location of the Wrong Input Series.

However, as you may already know, that tournament never took place. On the day the event was supposed to be held, the Government announced the establishment of a nationwide state of alarm to stop the COVID-19 pandemic that devastated the world in 2020.

The event was cancelled, and uncertainty arrived. Soon, a nationwide lockdown was imposed, interrupting discussions with both Elite Mallorca and Gamers Palma, with the promise of resuming the planned events once the health crisis was over.

The hardest period of the COVID-19 pandemic (March 2020-June 2021)
With the arrival of the global pandemic, Smash Bros. Mallorca stopped organising tournaments, and the island's competitors had to turn to online play to continue playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Many players lost interest in the game (several never returned after restrictions were lifted), while others, eager to continue competing, began adapting their habits to online play.

Many Spanish players began participating in online tournaments, and it is not an exaggeration to say that if the COVID-19 pandemic had not happened, the Smash Bros. Mallorca community would be different today. During this period, players such as Serge, Marrob, Toniraw, Stemen, Umaboo, Legi and Linnayru/Jared, among others, joined the scene, and many competitors began improving tremendously online. However, there was one participant who went from being mid-level before the pandemic to becoming one of Mallorca's best competitors. His tag is Charlie.

Charlie, commentating alongside Rush at Brothers in Smash II.
Charlie became one of the most popular Smash streamers, as his unique style and approach to the game earned him the affection of many players throughout the country. On his Twitch channel, he organised the Charge Shot Series, online tournaments that gradually grew until they had more than 100 participants from all across Spain.
One of the sets between IWinYou and Charlie played during this period.
Because of the pandemic, relations between Mallorcan and mainland Smash players also became closer: geographical distance stopped being important from the moment it became impossible to meet people in person and online platforms had to be used no matter what. Streamers became a driving force for the Spanish community, while Twitter and Discord completely displaced the Smash Bros. Spain forum as a platform, which had already been declining for years. On the other hand, the Redacción SBS had begun gaining notoriety largely thanks to the famous "Cable Column", an opinion piece in which Ramonium (also SBS's editor-in-chief) criticised players who participated in Ultimate online competitions using a Wi-Fi connection.

Profile image of Ramonium's most famous column, published on Smash Bros. Spain.
During the pandemic, Linnayru/Linxu/Jared Lin Lin/Aqua Lin, better known as Jared, also arrived. With his unique personality, he attracted the attention of players from Mallorca, Spain and much of the world. He founded the Wise Team clan, into which he added several Mallorca players without their permission, and it still exists today as a clan that has organised several online and offline events exclusively for its members. His relevance on the island has been such that, some time later, Jotan founded Unwise Team, a group created in opposition to Jared after he had been expelled from that clan due to a misunderstanding.

During the pandemic, Charlie improved tremendously by playing online against several of the best players in Spain and Europe. His Dark Samus learned a great deal from Sisqui's, and he began achieving many victories in online matches and excellent placements in online events.

Within a few months, the lockdown ended, but the restrictions did not. After a single tournament in the summer of 2020, which was organised with multiple safety measures (and received quite a few criticisms from players in other Spanish communities), Mallorca returned to organising tournaments regularly from the summer of 2021 onwards at Gamers Palma, with the Smash Mallorca Returns series.
The post-pandemic meta (June 2021-December 2023)
The Smash Mallorca Returns series, which was organised until the end of 2021, showed that Charlie had become Mallorca's best player. Or, at least, that was the impression everyone had until IWinYou decided to return to competition at the beginning of 2022.

Smash Mallorca Returns. PinkAplier and AndresFn commentate a set between Andreurams and Kîte.
This period was marked by IWinYou's absolute dominance. Charlie was never able to defeat him in a tournament, although it is true that the Dark Samus main was a level above everyone behind him. At weeklies such as the Mallorca Sessions, or regionals such as the long-running ShieldBreak and Mallorca Remix series, all organised at Gamers Palma, IWinYou consistently took home the victory, often using an immense variety of characters.

Top 3 of Smash Mallorca Returns, at Gamers Palma. From left to right: AndresFn, PinkAplier and Charlie.
Around this time, the community organised Mallorca's first Tier A tournament, the Super Charge Shot Series, inspired by the online events Charlie had promoted on his Twitch channel during the pandemic. With nearly 60 attendees, it featured several of the best players from across Spain, including Sisqui, AndresFn, Vidad, Vongola, Pepo and many more. IWinYou placed top 8 at the event, with victories over players such as Spize and Dras. It was organised at Gamers Palma, and Smash Bros. Mallorca used the entire venue to host its largest event in several years.

The first Super Charge Shot Series, at Gamers Palma.
Regardless of his performance at that event, IWinYou continued winning every Mallorca tournament with relative ease, except when someone from outside the island came to challenge him (and even then, he was capable of winning on those occasions). In fact, during the Un Verano de Smash series, specifically its August edition, IWinYou managed to defeat none other than AndresFn in a tournament, who was top 3 in Europe and top 2 in Spain at the time.
IWinYou's historic victory against AndresFn at Un Verano de Smash: Agosto.
At the end of 2022, IWinYou retired from competition, with a set count of approximately 20-0 against Charlie. Nevertheless, when the undisputed number one decided to stop attending tournaments, the Dark Samus main maintained absolute dominance over the island's meta, despite facing very strong competition: during this period, from 2022 to 2023, there was also a fierce rivalry between Ignis and PinkAplier, who fought tooth and nail for second place. In fact, whenever they faced each other, they usually produced extremely intense sets, and it was very difficult to know who would win, with multiple ties in their overall head-to-head tournament record. It is not an exaggeration to say that this rivalry has been the most exciting and tense personal rivalry in the entire history of Smash Bros. Mallorca. During this period, the emergence of players such as Salmonete, Ennach, Dexorf, Shen and Apathy/Amerlín, among others, should also be highlighted.
Just another one of the incredibly intense sets between PinkAplier and Ignis.
In February 2023, Smash Bros. Mallorca held its first national tournament, Super Charge Shot Series II. Organised at the Antiguo Parque de Bomberos ASIMA, the event had nearly 100 participants, and during that weekend, Palma became the capital of competitive Smash in Spain. The Mallorca community brought a powerful and professional tournament to the island that attracted talent from across the country, with levels of production rarely seen anywhere in Spain.

Super Charge Shot Series II, at the Antiguo Parque de Bomberos ASIMA.
The Grand Final of that event, between AndresFn and Sisqui, is remembered as one of the most tense encounters between these two rivals and friends, as the Dark Samus main had to adapt on the fly to his opponent's Kazuya. That set, the most watched on the Smash Bros. Mallorca YouTube channel, featured incredible commentary from Duroman21 and Rush, two of the best Smash Bros. commentators in Spain and two veteran Smash Bros. Mallorca players.

It is also worth noting that in mid-2023, after spending some time as Sisqui's editor, Mallorcan player Migre launched his YouTube channel, and through hard work and dedication, he has become one of the most famous Spanish-speaking Smash YouTubers. His videos often feature Mallorcan players in all kinds of competitions, contests or games that have become popular on the Internet. Likewise, during these years, many players from the island began regularly travelling to national and regional tournaments, with many of them becoming well-known and popular throughout Spain.

Following IWinYou's retirement, Charlie's dominance was absolute, and his placements and results outside the island were also noteworthy: after all, at Tech Republic VI, a European tournament held in November 2023 with nearly 300 participants, the Mallorcan Dark Samus main finished in thirteenth place, with victories over foreign players such as Kuracow and Peli (one of the three best players in the United Kingdom at the time).

It seemed that Charlie would remain Ultimate's number one player for the rest of the game's competitive lifespan. However, after those years of dominance and an Ultimate lifespan longer than the community had expected, things began to change...

Ultimate's late meta (January 2024-December 2025)
The next major turning point for the Mallorca community arrived at the beginning of 2024, just as Marrob, Serge, Apathy and Ramonium were improving by leaps and bounds during the final tournaments of the ShieldBreak series, the Mallorca Weekly Grinders organised by Apathy and Lizardwizard222, and Jotan's Start Predict, all series organised at Gamers Palma.

At the end of 2023, accompanied by his friends (who would soon become popularly known as the "Maus Gang"), Maus began attending Smash Bros. Mallorca tournaments, ready to teach us the Kazuya matchup. Accompanied by people such as Atilah (his brother and coach) and ElSocio, he quickly began attracting attention and achieving good placements at events. Before long, he started improving rapidly, and one day he brought along the SmashBox, with which he quickly began climbing the Mallorca rankings through a series of upsets.

The island's community soon stopped holding its competitions at Gamers Palma, which over time had begun shifting its business model from gaming towards card events, and returned to Defcon Informática, bringing the Smash Defcon Returns series through their collaboration. At these tournaments, Maus began defeating more and more opponents, progressing rapidly as a Smasher until he became one of the greatest Kazuya experts in all of Spain. During this period, from late 2023 to 2024, players such as Roderik, Zac, JoseL, Enriquetx, Denis and Inot, among others, appeared.

Thanks to his study of the character, Maus became Mallorca's new number one player, managing to defeat none other than Charlie, who had been comfortably sitting on the number one throne since IWinYou's retirement. Soon, the Kazuya main began dominating his opponents, also surpassing Marrob, who had improved enough to begin defeating Charlie, and Ramonium, who was also making a strong push.
One of the sets between Ramonium and Maus.
Maus's greatest moment of glory came at Duro Games 21, a Tier B tournament organised in May 2025 at Defcon, which attracted several of the best players in Spain. Against all odds, Maus won the tournament without losing a single set, defeating players such as Pepo and ElSantoGTZ, two of the best Super Smash Bros. Ultimate competitors in Spain.

In the summer of 2025, Smash Bros. Mallorca left Defcon Informática to organise tournaments for the rest of the year at the Assembly Hall of the Entidad Local Menor of Palmanyola. Tournaments at this new location brought another round of high-level events and excellent production, highlighted by Maus's absolute dominance: he won every Smash Palmanyola except number 4 (in a historic, long and incredibly tense final that Charlie took from him). In this way, the Kazuya main established himself as another of Mallorca's greatest players of all time before retiring at the end of the season.

Likewise, it is also worth highlighting that between 2024 and 2025, Mallorcan player Jotan launched his popular applications, which, due to their usefulness and simplicity, are used not only on the island but in several parts of the world. Marrob and Salmonete helped him gather information and opinions from several of the best players on the planet, who provided the data for Smash Stage, which is consulted by countless users.

The final stages of Ultimate and the arrival of Smash Remix Mallorca (January 2026-present)
After half a year in Palmanyola, Smash Bros. Mallorca moved its tournaments to Inca, organising the Sa Fàbrica de Smash series at Casal Sa Fàbrica. In a new meta without Charlie, IWinYou or Maus (who have only attended events very sporadically), Marrob has been defeating his opponents throughout the first half of 2026, although he has not been as dominant as his predecessors.

Furthermore, after experimenting with Smash Remix at the end of 2025, Smash Bros. Mallorca decided to begin the competitive season with monthly tournaments for the popular Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 64 mod on the island. As international pioneers, and thanks to the tireless work of veteran player Moyans!!!, Mallorca currently has the largest and most active Smash Remix scene in all of Europe, with in-person tournaments of between 12 and 18 participants every month and daily online matches in its WhatsApp group. In fact, since there is no standardised ruleset, Ramonium proposed one that has become an important reference and is officially used at tournaments on the island.
